Hi There! I'm Harmony and I am happy to meet you.

What you eat should make you feel good!

No matter your physical condition, size, age, or diagnosis, you should feel energized after you eat.

Foods that support aliveness are alive themselves. When we eat them, that energy becomes our own.  Anything short of that, and you are cheated!

A healthy approach to food includes where, with whom, and how much you eat. And let’s get it said loudly – food should taste good!   Yum!

But vitality (healthy nutrition) is more than food itself. Vitality is nurtured through movement, your sense of purpose, your circle of friends, and your relationship to being alive in the first place.

That is what I do: I help you create a new relationship with the food you eat and the body called you. We won’t design 21 days of radically changed meal plans that leave you starving and irritable!  We will address what you eat with the long game in mind and build vitality that lasts.

And by all means, eat the food you love – and let food love us back!

(I’ll share more about that later)

We all have a story.

My fascination, bordering on obsession with nutrition, began around 18. I started sprinkling brewer’s yeast and making yogurt when it was considered the “hippie” thing to do. I have iterated and floated along with the health food trends. I have never wavered from my love for biology, psychology, and our connection to the Source of vitality.

My life steps have included recovering from radiation poisoning I experienced while working near Kyiv in the early 1990s. That was a nine-month recovery, and Western doctors had little knowledge of what to do with nuclear poisoning at the time. I am very grateful to my ex-husband, who spent hours studying with me and for me to find the best nutritional approach I could take to wellness.

I became a massage therapist, aromatherapist, reflexologist, culinary-certified nutrition educator, chef, and nutrition coach. Of course, there were other ventures along the way. Life is never linear—at least not the adventurous kind.

We need to get past the marketing of one diet plan after the next and settle into what makes our bodies sing! I work with clients who want to feel alive in their skin—even if it’s wrinkled!

I have catered for Olympic teams, garden parties, and organizational events. I have also managed food services for institutions, bakeries, and restaurants. While cooking and chef work are always creative delights, my work with clients in groups and individually is a meaningful and unique experience.

This is what I don’t do: I do not diagnose.  I am not licensed to offer medical advice. I don’t offer weight loss-specific nutritional programs or supplement supplies. I don’t represent a franchise or certain program. I don’t shame or blame.

Instead, we will start from wherever you are and focus on adapting your food, nutrition, and lifestyle to accommodate the overall objective: to feel better.

The beautiful Pacific Northwest

I live a block from the water and 100 footsteps from the trail leading into the wooded paths in Western Washington.

I am also a professional artist, and I get lost in my world of creativity, where I try to create what my imagination can dream.

It’s quieter here than in in many places I have lived and worked, and I love it that way.  I get to share my life with a handsome pup who commands attention wherever he goes. His name is Beau (unless I am mad, then I pull out all the stops and call him “Beauregard!”)
